Learn how the law works and use it to solve problems and shape policy
If you want to turn your interest in law into a career—working in diplomacy and the foreign service, homeland security, human rights and social justice advocacy, government relations and political campaigns—consider a major or minor in Law and Public Policy. You’ll explore how legal institutions and their leaders shape public policy, and you’ll learn how to work with the law to accomplish your goals, whether for a government agency, a nonprofit, or a business. This degree is also good preparation for law school.
