Scholars from the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs will take part in the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) 47th Annual Fall Research Conference, scheduled for Nov. 13–15 in Seattle.
Faculty, post-doctoral researchers, and graduate students from the O’Neill School will present their latest research while also engaging with national- and global-level policy scholars. The conference will conclude with O’Neill School Distinguished Professor Kosali Simon’s transition from APPAM president-elect to president. The O’Neill School will host a reception Nov. 13 from 7–9 p.m. PST.
“The APPAM Fall Research Conference stands as one of the most influential gatherings for public policy scholars and practitioners,” said Siân Mooney, dean of the O’Neill School. “We’re proud that our faculty, students, and alumni continue to advance bold, evidence-based solutions to society’s most pressing challenges, demonstrating the O’Neill School’s leadership in public and environmental affairs.”
Under this year’s theme—“Forging Collaborations for Transformative and Resilient Policy Solutions”—the conference will explore how collaborative evidence generation and evaluation can refine policies, address unintended consequences, and improve coordination across all levels of government for transformative, resilient solutions.
