SPEA Graduate Exchange: University of Hong Kong

Spend a semester studying in Hong Kong while earning course credit toward your SPEA graduate degree

SPEA has partnered with the the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to offer a semester long exchange program to SPEA MPA students. As a SPEA MPA, you will have the opportunity to study nonprofit management and philanthropy from a United States, Chinese, and global perspective.

This program is open to SPEA MPA students at IU Bloomington in the nonprofit management concentration. To apply, you must be in good academic standing and must have completed at least one semester of graduate study at SPEA.

Students at HKU are able to enjoy a well-rounded campus life. HKU has fitness centers, swimming pools, computer centers, health clinic and dental services, canteens (dining halls) serving various cuisines, and numerous student societies and interest clubs. There are 13 residence halls at HKU. Hall life has been regarded as an important component of the HKU experience since the University's inception, and remains so today. Housing will cost approximately $850 U.S. per semester with food cost running from $800-$1,300 U.S..

For this semester exchange program, you will pay tuition at Indiana University (no tuition will be paid to HKU). You will also be responsible for covering your own overseas expenses including airfare, food, and housing.
