Career Exploration Trips

Make connections with employers on location with Career Networking and Exploration Trips

We organize Career Exploration and Networking Trips (CNET) every year to give you the opportunity to visit employers at their headquarters, or through targeted career panels and roundtables. You can practice professional networking, ask questions, and learn about representatives’ career paths, current positions, and practical advice on entering your career field.

A SPEA alumni networking event is part of each trip. Our alumni go on to become leaders in every sector of the economy. CNETs let you make connections and grow your professional network with these leaders and see first-hand how your SPEA degree will provide the skills you need to do well in a career of doing good.

Students are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and most meals—we do negotiate a reduced rate at a nearby hotel for attending students.
