Yeonseob Ha is a professor of public administration at Yonsei University. He has been with the University since 1992 and has held positions including Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Associate Dean of the Office of Academic Affairs, and Chairperson of the Department of Public Administration. He has also worked as a senior policy advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for Education.

Ha has been deeply involved as a consultant and committee member in the public policy-making processes of various government ministries including the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs, Ministry of Government Legislation, Korea Communications Commission, and Seoul Metropolitan City Government.

He has received numerous awards for his academic work including Best Teaching Awards, Academic Excellence (Book of the Year) Award from the Korean Association of Public Administration, Academic Excellence Award, and the Meritorious Performance Award from Yonsei University.

Ha holds a BA in Public Administration from Yonsei University, and a PhD in Public Policy from Indiana University.
