Mark Glotfelty joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an associate and was named managing director in 2015. He is a member of the Public Sector and Infrastructure Department and manages the rural electric cooperative and corporate related banking franchises. Previously, he was a member of the Credit Risk Management and Advisory Department.
Glotfelty has 18 years of experience financing rural electric and public power utilities. He has worked on the restructuring of several of the country’s largest public power utilities, including the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, New York Power Authority, and Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Glotfelty was an associate director in the public finance department of Standard & Poor’s ratings group.
Glotfelty received a bachelor’s degree in policy and administration from Indiana University, and an MPA from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
