Marsialle Arbuckle is founder and executive director of the Center for Urban Youth and Family Development in the Detroit area. The center seeks to effect positive change in individuals and families through mentoring and encouragement of academic and skills development.
Arbuckle has an extensive history of community service leadership. He was chairman of the board of the Michigan Neighborhood Partnership in Detroit, was a gubernatorial appointee to the Michigan Foster Care Review Board, and served on the board of directors of the Detroit Omega Foundation, an organization that educates and supports Detroit-area youth and families. From 1981 to 2008, he was a business planning specialist, product manager, and program manager with the Ford Motor Company.
Arbuckle received a bachelor’s degree in policy and administration from Indiana University, and a master’s degree in business management from Central Michigan University.
