Joel Anderson is a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Washington Federal Practice, a management-consulting group focused on improving operational effectiveness in U.S. government agencies. He leads PwC’s work with the U.S. Department of Justice, overseeing projects related to information technology system implementation, finance effectiveness, human capital development, and facilities operations.
Prior to working at PwC, Anderson held positions at IBM, Unisys, and Arthur Andersen. He started his career at Chemonics International where he supported development projects focused primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, funded by the United States Agency for International Development. As a graduate student at SPEA, Anderson interned with the U.S. State Department in Brazzaville, Congo.
Anderson received two degrees from Indiana University: a bachelor’s degree in political science and an MPA with a concentration in comparative and international affairs.
