Srikant Sastry is National Managing Principal of Grant Thornton’s U.S. Advisory Services practice, leading a team of over 2,400 staff in creating, protecting, and transforming value for clients across multiple industries. Additionally, he serves on the firm's Senior Leadership Team.
Sastry began his career working in budget formulation and cost management capacities for the Environmental Protection Agency, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Internal Revenue Service. He has more than 25 years of public sector experience and has held leadership roles at IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sastry serves as chairman of the board for the Consortium of Advanced Management–International and for the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology Partnership Fund.
Sastry received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts, an MPA with concentrations in policy analysis and public financial administration from Indiana University, and a JD from George Washington University.
