David MacIntosh is the chief science officer with Environmental Health and Engineering Inc., leading the environmental consulting and engineering company’s exposure assessment practice. He has 20 years’ experience in the environmental health profession.
MacIntosh is a former faculty member in the Department of Environmental Health Science at the University of Georgia and remains active in teaching, holding appointments in the Harvard School of Public Health, the Harvard Extension School, and at Brandeis University. He is the author of numerous publications on exposure assessment, risk analysis, and environmental management and is a frequent technical advisor to the World Health Organization.
MacIntosh received a bachelor’s degree in quantitative business analysis and a master’s degree in environmental risk analysis from Indiana University. He also has a doctor of science degree in environmental health from Harvard University.
