Biography

Jason Dudich serves as the Budget Director for the State of Indiana. Prior to his role with the State Budget Agency he was with LHD Benefit Advisors, LLC, consulting and advising public and private sector employers on employee benefit plans and services. Dudich also served as the chief of staff to Indianapolis Mayor Gregory A. Ballard from October 2014 through December 2015. Previously, Dudich was the controller of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis, Marion County, and as the director of the Office of Financial Management Dudich oversaw the city’s $1 billion annual operating and capital budget, human resource office, and procurement division.

 As the associate commissioner and chief financial officer for the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, he updated the state’s performance-based model and assisted in the merger of several higher education offices. He currently serves on various boards associated with city and country operations.

Dudich received a bachelor’s degree in public financial management from Indiana University.
